Iowa Christmas 2008

I am delinquent on posting some of the gazillion pictures I took on our annual trek to Iowa at Christmas. We spent time in two places & saw all the Grandma's & Grandpa, Aunts, Uncles, cousins, & many more. Cousin Maren from Colorado, Mr B, Chloe & Ben playing in frigid cold Iowa weather. Negative digits in actual temperature & wind chill. It doesn't stop those that have driven 900 miles to see the white, fluffy stuff.

Mr B helped the kids dig the snow fort. It eventually was big enough to house all 4 cousins.

We went to the mall where they pile the snow after removing it from the parking lots. The kids had to get out and climb the mountain, even though the cold air froze your nose hairs & threathened to sap all air out of your lungs.

This was a good post for me to read. I forget how fun snow can be when you see it day after day after day.... you get the point. Looks like you had a blast though!

Wow! I've never been in that much snow & I'm soooo jealous. I can't imagine how much fun/cold that trip was. Thanks for posting! I love seeing the pictures.
